back to topWith over sixty beaches to choose from, sunset beach parties, bustling harbours and an array of bars, restaurants and boutiques Skiathos really does have something for everyone. Nightlife here is quite sophisticated with not a lager lout in sight, but don’t get me wrong, in peak season when it’s in full swing things get pretty lively especially in cosmopolitan Skiathos town with numerous bars and discos to choose from. If you want to get away from it all why not jump on a hydrofoil and go island hopping or get an all over tan on the famous Banana beach, but remember to avoid here if your with the family.
If you’ve had a bit too much sun, with highs of 90 plus in July and August, believe it or not you can find that you really have had enough, then there’s plenty of historical sights on the Island to visit, maybe a spot of shopping might be more your cup of tea, with lots of Italian designer clothes on offer.
Eating Out
Traditional tavernas are the usual place to eat when in Skiathos and usually work out to offer the best prices. Home made Pizza and delicious pasta dishes are also readily available.
Places to Visit
If you are not staying in Koukounaries then it is worth a visit just for the stunning golden sandy beach, also home to some great beach parties when the sun goes down.
Important Information
