This is the largest of the Canary Islands, which also means that there is definitely something or somewhere for everybody and with sunshine 52 weeks of the year what more could you ask for? During the day you can laze on one of the dark volcanic beaches, which is just what you might need after a hectic night out clubbing on Veronica’s hip strip, lets face it, if it’s on Robbie Williams\' party list it’s good enough for me. Or why not take a trip to Mount Teide where you can see all the Canary Islands in one swoop and see one of the settings used for Star Wars, or for the more sporty visit Playa De Troy for waves which will be a joy to any surfer.

Eating Out

Choose from fast food outlets, Irish bars, beach bars with sea stunning views or upmarket pavement cafes, Tenerife has it all to offer. Try the fish and paella dishes washed down with a jug of the fruity local sangria. It is pretty inexpensive to eat out depending where you choose to eat, if a full english is on the menu though you will be spoilt for choice as nearly every cafe bar you pass will offer you this home from home breakfast.

Places to Visit

The water park is an essential fun for all part of the holiday especially if you are with the family. Watch the agile dolphins perform their amazing antics or just cool in one of the many splash pools. For something more sedate try a visit to Mount Teide, this snow covered volcano can be spotted from most any part of Tenerife, you can stroll to the top or on a calm day jump aboard the cable car to take in the spectacular views.
